The water pump is a centrifugal-type pump that consists of the following components:
| • | An impeller |
| • | An impeller driveshaft |
| • | A pulley flange |
| • | A stamped steel housing |
The back side of the drive belt drives the pulley. The pulley attaches to the pump.
