Removal Procedure
- With the door open, remove the front auxiliary sealing strip retainers (2, 3).
- Remove the taped portion of the sealing strip from the top of the door pillar.
- Remove the sealing strip by pulling it away from the flange.
Use a isopopyl alcohol dampened cloth in order to remove the old tape residue from the door pillar.
Installation Procedure
- Install the front auxiliary sealing strip on to the front door edge.
- Install the middle retainer (2).
- Working upward from the center, engage the sealing strip into the flange.
- Peel the release liner (1) from the tape and apply pressure at the sealing strip to adhere the tape patch to the door pillar.
- Working downward from the center, engage the sealing strip into the flange.
- Install the lower retainer (3), securing both the front and lower sealing strips.
Ensure that the sealing strip is tucked under the reveal molding.
