Electrical Information Reference

The alternator warning indicator is only illuminated for 6 seconds after the ignition is switched to the ON position with the engine OFF.

Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

1. Carry out the Diagnostic System Check.
2. Ignition on alternator warning light should illuminate for 6 second.

⇒	If the alternator warning does not illuminate, connect the scan tool and command the alternator warning light ON.

⇒	If the light does not illuminate replace instrument panel cluster.
