Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Replacement for Chevrolet Chevrolet C-Series Medium Duty Truck B7 1998

Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.



2. Disconnect the vacuum harness assembly (3).
3. Disconnect the electrical connector releasing locking tab.
4. Remove the bolts, or release the lock tabs.
5. Remove the sensor (1) from the bracket (2).

1. Install the bolts or snap the sensor (1) on the bracket (2).
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the vacuum harness (3).
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
