Master Cylinder Diagnosis for Chevrolet Chevrolet C-Series Medium Duty Truck B7 1998

1. Inspect the master cylinder for a cracked casting.
2. Inspect the master cylinder for brake fluid leads. Leaks are indicated only if there is at least one drop of fluid. A damp condition is not abnormal.
3. Inspect the master cylinder for the following conditions:

•	Binding pedal linkage

•	Incorrect pushrod length

4. Disassemble the master cylinder if you did not find a condition.
5. Inspect the master cylinder for swollen or elongated primary piston seals.
