Air Brake Park Control Valve Leakage Test for Chevrolet Chevrolet C-Series Medium Duty Truck B7 1998

1. Block the wheels.
2. Start the engine.
3. Charge the system air pressure to the governor cut-out point.



4. Pull out the system park knob (3) and release the brake pedal.
5. Apply a soap solution to the exhaust port.
6. Check the exhaust port for leakage. Slight leakage is permissible.
7. If leakage is excessive, replace the valve (7).
8. Push in the system park knob (3).
9. Remove the wheel blocks.
