Exhaust Brake Inspection for Chevrolet Chevrolet C-Series Medium Duty Truck B7 1999

Important: Refer to Air Brakes to depressurize the system before performing any service procedures.

Inspect for foreign objects between the following components:

•	The lever and the stop peg

•	The actuator and the bracket

Verify that the following components are tightened to specifications:

•	The two mounting bracket bolts

•	The stop peg

•	The clamp rings

Inspect the following components for dirt:

•	The actuator push rod end

•	The lip seal

•	The breather

•

The pivot
