Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for Chevrolet Chevrolet C-Series Medium Duty Truck B7 2000

1. Loosen the clamp and remove the inlet front duct from the air cleaner assembly (1).
2. Loosen the clamp and remove the MAF sensor (4) from the outlet duct of the air cleaner assembly (1).
3. Remove the air cleaner assembly attaching bolts (3) from the air cleaner assembly mounting bracket (2).

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

1. Install air cleaner assembly (1) to the air cleaner assembly mounting bracket (2).

Tighten
Tighten the air cleaner assembly attaching bolts to 5 N·m (4 lb ft).

2. Install the MAF sensor (4) onto the air cleaner assembly outlet duct (1).
3. Install inlet air duct assembly on to the air cleaner assembly (1).
4. Tighten the clamps on both the inlet and outlet duct of the air cleaner assembly (1).
