Electronic Brake Control Module Configuration for Chevrolet Chevrolet C-Series Medium Duty Truck B7 2002

The EBCM is able to self-configure to multiple ABS systems. The self-configuration process must be initiated when a new EBCM is installed in a vehicle. All system components must be properly connected and functional in order to successfully configure the EBCM. Use the procedure described below in order to configure the EBCM to the specific vehicle.

1. Hold the magnet against the switch on the EBCM labeled RESET.
2. Continue to hold the magnet against the reset switch for approximately 20 seconds.
3. Remove the magnet from the RESET switch when the LEDs begin to flash.
4. The self-configuration process is complete when the EBCM displays illuminated FRT, RER, and SEN LEDs.
