Removal Procedure
- Remove the generator.
Refer to 
Generator Replacement 
in Engine
Electrical.
 
- Remove the power steering pump. Refer to 
Power Steering Pump Replacement 
 in Power Steering Systems.
 
- Remove the accessory mounting bracket from the  engine using the
following steps: 
 
| •  | Remove the bolts holding the accessory mounting bracket to the
cylinder head and block. | 
 
| •  | Remove the bolt behind the power steering pump to engine block. | 
 
| •  | Remove the accessory mounting bracket. | 
 
Installation Procedure
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the generator
mounting bracket to the  cylinder head using the nuts and the bolts.
 
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
- Install the power steering pump. Refer to 
Power Steering Pump Replacement 
 in Power Steering Systems.
 
- Install the generator. Refer to  
Generator Replacement 
  in Engine  Electrical.
