1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
2. Disable the Power Sliding Door (PSD) lockout switch located in the overhead console.
3. Unlock the right sliding door.
4. Press the PSD open/close button. This button is located in the overhead console.

Does the PSD open/close?

Go to Power Sliding Door (PSD) Diagnostic System Check

1. Program a known good transmitter. Refer to Transmitter Programming .
2. While observing the PSD, press once on the PSD OPEN/CLOSE button on the keyless entry transmitter.

Does the known good transmitter open/close the PSD?

Go to Step 3

1. Disconnect the RCDLR.
2. Using a 10 amp fused jumper, connect momentarily between the RCDLR harness connector terminal H and ground.

Does the PSD open/close?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the defective transmitter.

Is the symptom still present?

--

Go to Step 5

System OK

Inspect the RCDLR connector for poor terminal contact. If the connection is OK, replace the RCDLR.

Is the repair complete?

Repair a poor connection or an open in CKT 1894.
