Shift Shaft and Shift Fork Cleaning and Inspection for GMC Truck GMC C Sierra - 2WD (CNG) 2003

1. Clean all the parts in a suitable cleaning solvent. Air dry the parts.
2. Inspect all parts for wear and for damage.
3. Inspect the shift shafts for the following:

•	Rounding of detent shoulders

•

Bent

•

Scored




4. Inspect for bent shift forks.
5. Inspect the shift fork arm for wear.
