Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Replacement for GMC Truck GMC K Sierra - 4WD 2001

Removal Procedure
  1. Turn OFF the ignition.

    2. Object Number: 12817 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the MAP sensor harness connector.

    3. Object Number: 10933 Size: SH

    Notice: Do not rotate or pry on the MAP sensor when removing. Damage to the MAP sensor or the intake manifold may result.

  3. Remove the MAP sensor by pulling straight up with a slight rocking motion.
  4. Inspect the MAP sensor seal for damage and replace as necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 10933 Size: SH
  1. Install the MAP sensor.

    2. Object Number: 12817 Size: SH
  2. Connect the MAP sensor harness connector.
