•	Inspect the spark plugs. Refer to Spark Plug Inspection in Engine Controls.

•	Verify engine compression. Refer to Engine Compression Test.

•	Inspect the cylinder heads.

•	Inspect the engine block.

•	Repair or replace damaged components as required.
