Fuel Pressure Relief Valve Replacement for GMC Truck TopKick C-Series (Conventional) C4/C5 2007

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
2. Remove the fuel pressure relief valve from the left fuel rail.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install the fuel pressure relief valve to the left fuel rail.

Tighten
Tighten the valve to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).

2. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
3. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming .
4. Start the engine. If the engine stalls, repeat the above step.
5. Once the engine starts, inspect for fuel leaks.
