Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Front Crossmember Replacement for GMC Truck Yukon XL Denali 2007

Preliminary Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Remove the oil pan skid plate. Refer to Oil Pan Skid Plate Replacement .

Engine Front Crossmember Nut (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
120 N·m (89 lb ft)

Engine Front Crossmember Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tip

1. Remove all traces of the original adhesive patch.
2. Clean the threads of the bolt with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.
3. Apply threadlocker GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488).

Engine Front Crossmember Nut (Qty: 2)

Tighten
120 N·m (89 lb ft)

Engine Front Crossmember Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tip

3. Apply threadlocker GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488).

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the oil pan skid plate. Refer to Oil Pan Skid Plate Replacement .
