Engine Control Module Replacement for Holden Epica 2007

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.




1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
2. Remove the engine control module (ECM) bracket nuts.



3. Disconnect the ECM connector.
4. Remove the ECM retaining nuts and the ECM.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install the ECM and the retaining nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the ECM retaining nuts to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

2. Connect the ECM connector.



3. Tighten the ECM bracket nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the ECM bracket nuts to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

4. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
