Preliminary Procedure Remove the liftgate lower trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.
1	Liftgate Latch Bolt (Qty: 3) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 10 N·m (89 lb in)
2	Liftgate Latch Tip Disconnect any electrical connectors.
