Removal Procedure
- Remove the trim panel. Refer to
Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Lower the window.
- Remove the screws holding the inner mounting panel assembly to
the door.
- Pull back the water deflector.
- Remove the lock and handle rods from the back of the assembly.
- Tape the lock and handle rods to the door.
- Remove the two bolts through the window run channel.
- Tilt the panel assembly and window glass assembly and lift the
panel assembly and window glass assembly out of the bottom of the door.
Installation Procedure
- Install the inner mounting panel assembly and glass assembly into the
door.
- Fit the glass into the rear channel in the door.
- Pull the front run channel to glass.
- Install the lower run channel bolt and tighten.
- Install the lock and handle rods to the back of the mounting panel
assembly.
- Install the water deflector. Refer to

.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the inner
mounting panel assembly to the door with screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
- Install the upper run channel bolt.
- Install the trim panel. Refer to
