Removal Procedure

  1. Unscrew and remove the antenna mast.
  2. Remove the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.

  3. Object Number: 207428  Size: SH
  4. Remove the antenna mounting screws.

  5. Object Number: 207434  Size: SH
  6. Remove the antenna cable from the radio and route through the harness clips.
  7. Remove the 2 bolts from the cowl.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 2.0 N·m (18 lb in).

  9. Remove the antenna cable from the cowl.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 207434  Size: SH
  1. Install the antenna cable through the cowl.
  2. Install the antenna cable through the harness clips and to the radio.
  3. Install the 2 bolts to the cowl.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 2.0 N·m (18 lb in).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the antenna mounting screws.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the antenna mounting screws to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  7. Install the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  8. Screw in the antenna mast.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten to 2.0 N·m (18 lb in).
