Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 348769 Size: SH
  1. Remove the electrical connector from the washer pump.
  2. Disconnect the hose from the washer pump.
  3. Remove the two screws and the nut from the container.
  4. Remove the solvent container from the vehicle.
  5. Remove the washer pump from the solvent container.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 348769 Size: SH
  1. Install the washer pump to the solvent container.
  2. Install the solvent container onto the vehicle.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the two screws and the nut.

    4. Tighten

        • Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
        • Tighten the nut to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
  4. Connect the hose to the washer pump.
  5. Install the electrical connector to the washer pump.
