Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 339320  Size: SH
  1. Remove the screws from the range selector housing. Move the range selector housing rearward.
  2. Remove the engine access cover screws (1).
  3. Remove the engine access cover nuts (2).
  4. Remove the engine access cover (3).

  5. Object Number: 207468  Size: SH
  6. Remove the engine access cover seal (2).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 207468  Size: SH
  1. Install the engine access cover seal (2) by pressing the seal to the opening starting at the front centerline (1).

  2. Object Number: 339320  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the engine access cover (3).
  4. Tighten

        • Tighten the 2 engine access cover screws (1) to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
        • Tighten the 2 engine access cover nuts (2) to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
  5. Move the range selector housing forward. Install the screws from the range selector housing.
