Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the coat hooks and screws.

  2. Object Number: 206749  Size: SH
  3. Remove the side rear trim panels (1).
  4. Remove the dome lamp lens.
  5. Remove the dome lamp housing and bezel.
  6. Remove the seat belt guide bolt and the seat belt guide. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.
  7. Remove the rear window garnish moldings. Refer to Rear Window Garnish Molding Replacement .
  8. Remove the rear speaker grilles by prying them up. Refer to Radio Rear Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.

  9. Object Number: 206878  Size: SH
  10. Remove the windshield side garnish molding (1).
  11. Remove the three screws retaining each sunshade.
  12. Remove the sunshades.

  14. Remove the headliner (1) as follows:
  15. 11.1. Grasp the panel on the left and right sides near the front of the cab.
    11.2. Disengage the front of the panel from the roof. The panel attaches with hook-and-loop fasteners.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the headliner (1) as follows:
  2. 1.1. With the aid of an assistant, lift the panel and attach the front end of the headliner first.
    1.2. Tape the rear of the panel to the roof until the moldings are installed.
  3. Install the sunshades with three screws each.

  4. Object Number: 206878  Size: SH
  5. Install the windshield side garnish molding (1) by pressing the retainers into the pillar.
  6. Install the rear speaker grilles. Refer to Radio Rear Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  7. Remove the tape from the headliner.
  8. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  9. Install the rear window upper molding.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the 2 rear window upper molding screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  11. Install the dome lamp housing and bezel.
  12. Tighten
    Tighten the 2 dome lamp housing and bezel screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  13. Install the dome lamp lens.

  15. Install the right and left side rear trim panels (1).
  16. Tighten
    Tighten the 3 right and left side rear trim panel screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  17. Install the seat belt guide and the seat belt guide bolt. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.
  18. Install the coat hooks and screws.
  19. Install the rear window lower molding. Refer to Rear Window Garnish Molding Replacement .
