Air Temperature Door Replacement C 60

1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
2. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Heater/Vent Module Replacement .
3. Remove the screws from the case cover (10) of the HVAC module.



4. Separate the module halves.
5. Disconnect the air temperature actuator (6) from the air temperature door (17).
6. Remove the air temperature door (17) from blower motor case (1).

1. Install the air temperature door (17) to the blower motor case (1).
2. Connect the air temperature actuator (6) to the air temperature door (17). Refer to Air Temperature Actuator Replacement in HVAC Systems - Manual.



3. Install the module halves.
4. Install the screws to the case cover (10) to the HVAC module.
5. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Heater/Vent Module Replacement .
6. Fill the engine cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.

Air Temperature Door Replacement Heat Only

1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Heater/Vent Module Replacement .



2. Remove the screws from the case cover (8) of the HVAC module.
3. Separate the module halves.
4. Disconnect the air temperature actuator from the door. Refer to Air Temperature Actuator Replacement in HVAC Systems - Manual.
5. Remove the air temperature door (16) from blower motor case (1).

1. Install the air temperature door (16) to the blower motor case (1).
2. Connect the air temperature actuator to the door. Refer to Air Temperature Actuator Replacement in HVAC Systems - Manual.
3. Join the module halves.



4. Install the screws to the case cover of the HVAC module.
5. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Heater/Vent Module Replacement .
