Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 219949  Size: SH
  1. Remove the IP bezel assembly screws.
  2. Remove the IP bezel assembly.
  3. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.

  4. Object Number: 585404  Size: SH
  5. Remove the HVAC control module screws.
  6. Remove the HVAC control module from the instrument panel.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 585404  Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors.
  2. Install the HVAC control module to the instrument panel.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the HVAC control module screws.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.

  7. Object Number: 219949  Size: SH
  8. Install the IP bezel assembly.
  9. Install the IP bezel assembly screws.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
