1. Power seats and memory recall functions are inoperative | ||||
Whenever the memory seat module (MSM) is in the sleep mode, the seat interface module (SIM) must apply a voltage signal through the wake-up signal circuit to the MSM before power seat or memory functions are allowed.
The MSM is active.
The SIM senses that the MSM wake-up control circuit is shorted to ground.
The SIM senses that the MSM wake-up control circuit is shorted to B+.
Power seats and memory recall functions are disabled.
| • | The current DTC clears when the fault is no longer present. |
| • | The history DTC will clear after 50 consecutive fault-free ignition cycles have occurred. |

| ⇒ | If less than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the SIM. |
| ⇒ | If greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the SIM. |
